Commissions

There’s nothing quite so special as a unique painting, just for YOU or someone YOU love.

WHAT:
- What would you like me to paint?
- An abstract painting? Maybe based on something I’ve done before, in a similar style, but using your chosen colour palette.
- How about a more recognisable seascape or landscape of a special place, or a favourite flower with a special meaning to you. I could work from one of your photographs (or a suitable reference image if you don’t have one yourself).
- Something in between the two, or very different.
I’m very happy to hear your vision and discuss the options.

SIZE:
- Think about where you want to display your painting and how big it needs to be.
- Do you want it on a ready-to-hang deep edge canvas, in a frame, or just on paper?

WHEN:
- Do you need it finished for a certain date?

NEXT:
- Fill out my ‘CONTACT FORM’ with the heading ‘Commission Enquiry’ with the answers to the above questions, if you already know.
- I can then contact you by email and we can chat about your idea to make sure we’re both happy to go ahead.

COST:
-Price is very dependent on size, if framing is required, etc. You can get a guide from my similar-sized originals for sale. Adding P&P.
-Once everything has been agreed, I’ll send you a simple ‘commission contract’ and a link to pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking.

EXCITING BIT:
- I’ll get painting!
- I often begin with small studies or mockups to test colours and layouts, which you’ll have the chance to review before I begin the final piece.
- I’ll also send an update with progress photographs so you can see your painting taking shape.
- Commissions usually take between 2-6 weeks to complete, depending on their size and complexity.

YOUR UNIQUE COMMISSION:
- I’ll send a photograph of the finished painting for your approval.
- You’ll pay the remaining 50% of the cost.
- When the final payment is received, your painting will be signed and carefully packaged for delivery. A certificate of authenticity.
- Then, your beautiful new artwork will arrive ready for you to hang and enjoy for many years to come.

Charles - Devon

We first saw Amanda's work being displayed at The Flux Exhibition in London. We purchased one of her amazing pieces, titled ‘Raw City Fringe’ and this piece led us to ask her to consider a commission of two more paintings. We really wanted her to depict some of our favourite places in Budapest in the form of an eclectic collage. We are delighted with the final pieces.

I was absolutely thrilled by my commission. I already loved Amanda’s dramatic seascape paintings but I wanted something much bigger 120cm wide, to make a real statement but also not clash with my living room furniture. Amanda exceeded my expectations with managing to perfectly colour match the soft pinks and turquoise blues of my room, without loosing any of the coastal drama. Beyond happy, it makes me feel great every time I enter my room.
